In my view, Jiujing Academy is not a simple training course on the classics, but a system of learning that helps us re-understand life, awaken to ourselves, and settle body and mind — a true "school of life."

跟随胡勇院长学习儒、释、道经典的过程中，我不仅感受到东方哲学的深邃与魅力，也有幸见识了一位博学、通达而又仁爱的老师。胡勇院长讲经典，不是停留在知识和文字层面，而是将经典与人生、家庭和事业相连接，让古老的智慧真正回到现实生活之中。

In studying the Confucian, Buddhist, and Daoist classics under Principal Hu Yong, I not only felt the depth and appeal of Eastern philosophy, but also had the privilege of encountering a teacher who is learned, penetrating, and benevolent. He does not stop at knowledge and words — he connects the classics to life, family, and work, bringing ancient wisdom back into everyday reality.

What moved me even more was seeing in Principal Hu Yong a life of clarity, ease, and warmth. The classics are no longer just principles in books — they have become a person's true spiritual bearing.

希望自己能够在持续学习中，少一些浅薄与浮躁，多一些清醒与清净；也希望这些古老而恒新的智慧，能够让我更好地认识自己、善待家人、面对事业，成为一个更加明白、从容而有益于他人的人。

I came to the academy hoping only to glimpse the gateway to Chinese classical learning — yet I found that Principal Hu has an almost uncanny presence. Without ever lecturing, he quietly draws us into a contemplation of life itself. The obscure words in those ancient texts, brought to life by his wit and sincerity, became mirrors in which I could see myself. I suddenly understood what a "true person" means: not some lofty ideal, but a sincerity so deep it touches the heart in everyday life. He lives the spirit of the ancient scrolls — a state that inspires longing. As with the teacher, so with fellow students; thus the academy becomes a place where the heart finds peace the moment you sit down.

课程的滋养如细雨润物，让感性的我渐渐养成了「以终为始」的思维刻度，也终于辨认出那个久被遮蔽的、真实的、我真正喜欢的自己。这场身心的洗礼，把我从焦灼的涡流中轻轻托起，送至从容的岸上。而这份安然，又化作对家人的柔光——让孩子不必迎合，只须以她自己的节奏舒展生长。

The nourishment of the courses fell like gentle rain, gradually cultivating in my emotional self a habit of thinking "beginning with the end in mind." At last I recognized the long-obscured, authentic self I truly like. This baptism of body and mind gently lifted me from the vortex of anxiety and set me on the shore of ease. And this peace in turn became a gentle light for my family — allowing my child not to conform, but simply to grow at her own pace.
